Position Overview:
T47 International is currently seeking a skilled and reliable Plumber to support operations in Charlottesville, VA. This role requires an active Secret clearance. The ideal candidate will have strong technical plumbing expertise, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work in secure environments.
Clearance: Secret Required, Top-Secret Preferred
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems including water supply, drainage, and gas lines
- Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues in residential, commercial, or government facilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Perform preventive maintenance on plumbing systems and fixtures
- Ensure all work meets local, state, and federal codes and safety standards
- Maintain compliance with security protocols associated with cleared facilities
- Document work performed and maintain service records
Minimum Qualifications
- Active Secret Clearance, Top-Secret Preferred
- Proven experience as a plumber (journeyman-level preferred)
- Knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, equipment, and best practices
- Ability to pass background checks and maintain clearance status
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications
- Journeyman or Master Plumber license (preferred)
- Experience working on federal or government facilities
- Familiarity with secure or controlled environments
Work Environment
- Work performed in secure government or controlled-access facilities
- May require lifting, climbing, bending, and working in confined spaces
