Job Description

The T3 Social Media Content Creator Intern is responsible for filming, editing, and posting original and engaging content on T3 social media accounts. In this role, you will work closely with the marketing team and the Assistant Manager of Social Media to turn concepts into compelling video that aligns with brand pillars and tone. The role will also assist with other marketing and social media projects and tasks as needed.

This role is for someone who is social media and hair obsessed. A deep interest and solid understanding of current social media trends—especially in the hair and beauty space—is a must. So is the ability to edit video within key social media platforms including TikTok and Instagram. This role is for someone who is comfortable in front of the camera and an expert at styling hair with hot tools. A desire to always improve, collaborate, innovate, and learn more will help you succeed in this role as will a ‘get it done’ attitude.

Key Responsibilities:

·      Participate in content brainstorms and strategy meetings.

·      Monitor social media platforms and trends daily, constantly seeking opportunities for T3 to participate.

·      Proactively pitch content ideas.

·      Film and edit content.

·      Publish content according to established social media content calendar.

·      Collaborate with marketing team to ensure every piece of content is relevant and aligns with brand messaging and initiatives.

·      Pull reports and results for meetings.

·      Find and share potential influencers and content ideas for collaboration and inspiration.

·      Assist with other administrative marketing projects and tasks.

Job Requirements:

·      Working towards or recently graduated with a bachelor’s degree in film and video production, digital media, audiovisual communications, communications, marketing, or related field.

·      Interest in beauty, fashion, or lifestyle industries.

·      Deep knowledge of social media trends and platforms including TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts

·      Proven experience filming and editing engaging content for various social media platforms.

·      Intermediate skills with Canva and CapCut or other editing software

·      Strong visual literacy and love of creating compelling and unique content with a consumer in mind.

·      Expert in styling hair with hot tools.

·      Comfortable being in front of the camera.

·      Must be detail oriented.

·      Must have strong communication, interpersonal, organization, and file management skills; excellent prioritization skills.

·      Ability to take creative feedback and pivot quickly.

·      Ability to work well in a fast-paced, deadline-driven team environment.

·      Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.

·      Enjoys a highly collaborative environment where learning is almost as important as executing.

Other Information:

·      Work Schedule: 2-4 weekdays per week (Flexible)

·      Work Hours: 4-8 with a 30-minute meal break (Flexible)

·      Hybrid with 1-2 days a week in the office.

·      Hourly rate $20-$25
