Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Production Manager/ Lead Technician to lead & supervise our electronics manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on technical expertise, strong leadership capabilities, and a proven track record of delivering high-quality products on time and under budget. This role oversees day-to-day production activities, ensures workflow efficiency, and drives continuous improvement within a fast-paced electronics manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all production operations within the electronics manufacturing floor to ensure efficient, accurate, and consistent output.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute production schedules to meet on-time delivery and cost targets.
- Supervise and train production staff in assembly processes, soldering, inspection standards, and quality procedures.
- Perform and oversee soldering tasks, including through-hole and surface-mount (SMT) soldering.
- Lead and support advanced component replacement and rework, including QFN, BGA, and LGA packages.
- Ensure proper assembly of cabling and wire harnesses, including crimping, testing, and documentation.
- Oversee and participate in environmental testing processes to verify product integrity and compliance.
- Maintain production quality by enforcing IPC standards and internal quality procedures.
- Monitor production metrics, identify bottlenecks, and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Coordinate with engineering, quality, and supply chain teams to resolve issues and support new product introductions.
- Maintain equipment, tooling, and workstations for safety and operational readiness.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
Qualifications
- Proven experience managing production operations in an electronics manufacturing environment.
- Strong soldering skills, including through-hole and SMT techniques.
- Demonstrated capability in QFN, BGA, and LGA component replacement and rework.
- Proficiency with crimping, wire preparation, and cable/harness assembly.
- Experience with environmental testing (thermal, vibration, humidity, or similar).
- Strong understanding of production planning, cost control, and workflow optimization.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines.
- Experience meeting/ exceeding IPC-A-610, 620 Standards

Pay: $24.07 - $30.00 per hour
