Test Engineer-Chemical Lab

I. Position Summary

The position is responsible for daily analytical testing according to Lab standard operating procedure in a manner which meets TÜV-SÜD quality and EHS guidelines to ensure the testing service meet the timelines with high quality.

II. Job Responsibilities

• Performs routine analytical chemistry testing to finish the testing data according to approved procedures and SOP’s to ensure the testing data accuracy; (50%)
• Assist to establish analytical methods or improve existing method and ensure the analytical measurements are accurate; (10%)
• Responsible for the pre-treatment test smoothly, reduce unnecessary delay and prepare the buffer solution on time; (20%)
• Responsible for the performance check for lab’s equipment and performs the consumables purchasing work on time; (10%)
• Implement HSE according to lab procedures and 5S in working place. (5%)
• Report to lab supervisor in time when any unexpected phenomenon or results occurred in daily testing. (5%)
  
  

III. Job Requirements

• College degree in field of chemistry, or relevant field;
• At least 1-year experience in analytical chemistry testing or outstanding new graduate.
• Hands-on skills for lab operation and good at organic analysis.
• Conscientious, good self-study ability;
• Diligence, self-motivation and strong teamwork spirit.
• Good reading and writing skills in English.
