Position Summary
The Business Operations Coordinator is responsible for supporting the continued growth and daily operations of T&T Security Services. The primary focus of this position is identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building relationships with prospective and existing clients, and assisting with operational functions that support the company's continued success. Additional responsibilities include employee scheduling, coordinating onboarding and training, and serving as the primary communication link between company leadership and field operations.
The successful candidate will be highly organized, self-motivated, customer-focused, and committed to helping grow the company while maintaining exceptional service to our clients and employees.
Essential Job Duties & ResponsibilitiesBusiness Growth & Client Relations
- Actively identify, research, and pursue prospective clients and contract opportunities.
- Develop and maintain a pipeline of leads and business opportunities.
- Contact prospective clients to introduce T&T Security Services and schedule meetings.
- Coordinate client meetings, property visits, and security assessments.
- Assist in preparing proposals, presentations, and follow-up communications.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients.
- Identify opportunities to expand services with current clients.
- Attend networking events, business meetings, and community functions as assigned.
- Maintain accurate records of prospective clients, meetings, follow-up activities, and business development efforts, and provide a weekly report summarizing progress, new opportunities, and recommended next steps.
Scheduling & Operations Support
- Prepare and maintain employee work schedules.
- Coordinate schedule changes and communicate updates to employees.
- Assist with filling open shifts as operational needs arise.
- Maintain accurate scheduling and operational records.
- Coordinate and oversee employee onboarding and training to ensure all officers complete required orientation, post-specific training, and company policies before assignment.
- Monitor training records and notify leadership when refresher training or certifications are due.
- Assist leadership with daily operational and administrative support.
- Help improve operational processes and efficiency.
- Assist the COO with company initiatives and projects that support continued growth.
Communication & Coordination
- Serve as the primary liaison between the COO and the Field Supervisor.
- Communicate operational updates, staffing needs, scheduling changes, and important company information.
- Follow up on assignments to ensure timely completion.
- Maintain professional communication with employees and clients.
- Assist in resolving operational concerns and communicate recommendations to leadership.
Field Support
- Attend client meetings and site visits as requested.
- Assist with quality assurance inspections of client locations.
- Provide occasional security officer coverage when operational needs require.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Criminal Justice, Management, Marketing, or a related field preferred, but not required.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in business development, sales, customer service, office administration, scheduling, security operations, or a related field preferred.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and capable of learning scheduling and business software.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
