Electrical Estimator/Project Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Electrical Estimator/Project Manager to lead the planning, estimation, and execution of large-scale electrical projects. Duties

• Prepare accurate and comprehensive electrical project estimates utilizing construction estimating software such as HeavyBid and Primavera P6.
• Review construction drawings, schematics, and blueprints to determine project scope, materials, and labor requirements.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal teams during the permitting phase to ensure all necessary approvals are obtained efficiently.
• Manage project schedules using construction scheduling tools like Microsoft Project or Primavera P6 to ensure timely project delivery.
• Oversee electrical system design, ensuring compliance with NEC (National Electrical Code), NFPA 70 standards, and local electrical building codes.
• Lead project meetings, monitor progress on-site, and coordinate with construction teams to resolve issues promptly.
• Control project budgets by tracking costs, managing contracts, and adjusting plans as needed to meet financial targets.
• Review construction management plans, permits, and safety procedures to uphold NFPA 70 compliance and maintain a safe work environment.
• Utilize system design knowledge for electrical blueprint reading and schematic interpretation to support installation accuracy.
• Manage project documentation including contracts, change orders, RFIs (Request for Information), and progress reports.

Requirements

• Proven experience in construction estimating with proficiency in ProCore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office Suite, and project management software such as Primavera P6 or Project.
• Strong background in electrical engineering principles, system design, and electrical blueprint reading.
• Hands-on experience managing large-scale electrical projects from initial estimate through completion.
• Deep understanding of electrical codes including NEC regulations and NFPA 70 standards; involvement in permitting phases is highly desirable.
• Excellent project scheduling skills with familiarity in construction scheduling techniques and tools like Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.
• Ability to review construction drawings thoroughly for accuracy and constructability; experience with schematics is essential.
• Effective team leadership capabilities with a focus on project coordination across multiple stakeholders.
• Strong cost management skills including project budget oversight and contract management experience.
• Construction site experience demonstrating knowledge of safety protocols and field operations related to electrical systems.
• Exceptional time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $93,157.54 per year

Experience:
