Position Overview

T&T Concrete & Landscape is seeking a motivated, skilled, and dependable General Laborer Lead to assist in leading daily field operations across concrete, landscaping, and outdoor living projects.

This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in craftsmanship, can lead by example, and wants to grow with a fast-paced, family-owned company that values quality, efficiency, and professionalism.

The General Laborer Lead works directly under company ownership and/or Crew Supervisor and is responsible for helping manage jobsite productivity, crew coordination, and maintaining high-quality standards on every project.

Key Responsibilities

Concrete Work

• Assist in forming, pouring, and finishing concrete (flatwork, patios, driveways, sidewalks)
• Support stamped and decorative concrete processes (integral color, powder release, sealing)
• Set grades, install rebar or mesh reinforcement
• Saw cutting and joint layout
• Operate concrete tools and finishing equipment

Landscape & Hardscape Work

• Install paver patios, retaining walls, and stone features
• Grade and prep sub-base materials
• Install sod, decorative rock, mulch, and edging
• Assist in drainage and irrigation installs

Equipment Operation

• Operate skid loaders, mini excavators, compactors, and small equipment
• Load/unload trailers and secure materials
• Perform daily equipment inspections and maintenance checks

Leadership Responsibilities

• Help direct and motivate crew members on site
• Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and correctly
• Communicate clearly with ownership regarding progress and jobsite needs
• Maintain jobsite cleanliness and organization
• Train and mentor newer laborers
• Lead by example in work ethic and professionalism

Qualifications

• 3 years experience in concrete, landscaping, or construction preferred
• Experience in stamped/decorative concrete is a plus
• Ability to read tape measures, blueprints, and job plans
• Valid driver’s license (CDL is a huge plus)
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Ability to lift 75 lbs and work in outdoor conditions
• Comfortable operating jobsite equipment
• Strong communication and leadership skills

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $29.00 per hour
