We are seeking a motivated and dependable Concrete General Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. Responsibilities
- Assist with concrete pouring, finishing, and cutting to ensure precise application according to project specifications
- Support rebar installation, formwork construction, and concrete framing activities on-site
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and basic heavy equipment safely and effectively under supervision
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to assist with construction plans and concrete layout
- Prepare work areas by setting up scaffolding, formwork, and safety barriers in compliance with safety regulations
- Perform heavy lifting tasks and handle materials such as rebar, form panels, and concrete components with proper technique
- Maintain a clean worksite by organizing tools, disposing of debris, and adhering to construction safety protocols
Experience
- Prior experience working on construction sites or in related manual labor roles preferred but not required
- Knowledge of construction estimating, blueprint reading, and interpreting technical drawings is advantageous
- Familiarity with concrete work including pouring, finishing, cutting, and surface treatment techniques
- Hands-on experience with metal stud framing, masonry, flooring installation, tile laying or roofing is a plus
- Ability to operate power tools safely and efficiently; experience with heavy equipment operation is beneficial
- Understanding of construction workplace safety regulations and adherence to safety protocols at all times
- Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting, working at heights or in confined spaces as needed
