The Leasing Consultant is responsible for showing, leasing, and marketing apartments across our portfolio of 1,660 Class A and B market-rate units on the west side of Madison with lease up and construction under way for a new project in Middleton. As a leasing consultant, you are the public face of our properties and serve as the key liaison between management and our current and prospective renters. This role is essential in creating positive first impressions and delivering exceptional customer service.
This is an excellent opportunity for a self-motivated individual looking to break into real estate, property management, or leasing—or for an experienced leasing professional interested in working alongside another Leasing Consultant to form a strong, high-performing leasing team that supports portfolio-wide occupancy goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet prospective residents and conduct property tours
- Present available apartments and explain features, pricing, and community amenities
- Follow up with prospects in a timely and professional manner
- Process applications and guide applicants through the leasing process
- Assist with move in and move out procedures when needed
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and prospect traffic
- Support marketing and outreach efforts to generate leads
- Take lead on and participate in lease-up activities for new construction projects
- Communicate regularly with the property management team on availability, prospects, and leasing activity
- Help ensure properties are clean, market-ready, and visually appealing
- Participate in learning and development opportunities
- Assist at properties across the portfolio as needed
