Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as a Stocker / Cashier, where you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming shopping environment. You’ll be responsible for maintaining organized shelves, ensuring products are stocked efficiently, and providing exceptional customer service at the checkout.
Duties
- Stock shelves accurately and efficiently, ensuring products are well-organized and visually appealing
- Assist customers with product inquiries, product demos, and locating items throughout the store
- Handle cash, credit card payments, and perform cash handling duties with precision and integrity
- Maintain clean and organized checkout areas, including bagging items and managing receipts
- Upsell products by recommending related items or promotions to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales
- Support merchandising efforts by arranging displays and restocking shelves as needed
Skills
- Supervising experience in retail or customer service environments is a plus
- Bilingual abilities to communicate effectively with diverse customers are preferred
- Strong merchandising skills to create attractive product displays that encourage sales
- Basic math skills for handling transactions, making change, and managing retail math calculations
- Ability to perform stocking duties efficiently while maintaining safety standards
- Customer service-oriented mindset with a friendly, approachable attitude
