The Regional Sales Chain Manager is a critical front-line role responsible for identifying and onboarding new up and coming multi-unit Foodservice accounts. This role direct works in partnership with Foodservice Marketing, Trade Strategy and the Research & Development team to leverage data, insights & capabilities solve customer issues and deliver category growth.
Responsibilities
Targeting & Sales Strategy Execution Lead the development and implementation of high-impact sales strategies aligned with Marzetti Foodservice's fiscal objectives. Manage and direct sales efforts as the Region Chain Manager, overseeing key accounts across diverse US markets.
Business Expansion & Customer Growth Champion the defense and growth of both Customized and Branded business, deepening account penetration and expanding menu usage with existing customers. Proactively identify and secure new, profitable business opportunities by offering value-driven solutions tailored to customer needs.
Customer Relationship & Market Strategy Build and maintain strong, strategic partnerships with key chain accounts, ensuring that business strategies align with customer goals, objectives, and culture. Oversee customer agreements to drive sustainable revenue growth while delivering against annual operating plans.
Sales Execution & Resource Optimization Orchestrate all customer opportunities with precision, leveraging available resources to maximize success. Lead strategic planning initiatives to enhance the utilization of Maretti packaging platforms, ensuring efficiency and impact.
Pricing Strategy & Financial Leadership Develop and execute pricing strategies for assigned and targeted customers, maintaining a balance between profitability and competitive positioning. Contribute to the development, implementation, and achievement of annual budgets, ensuring financial sustainability.
Market Analysis & Business Growth Analyze business trends and identify opportunities for market expansion, managing the full opportunity pipeline. Utilize data-driven insights to refine strategies and enhance overall sales performance.
Brand Representation & Industry Visibility Cultivate a positive market presence that embodies Marzetti Foodservice’s commitment to "The Better Way." Establish and maintain a consistent travel schedule to reinforce visibility, strengthen relationships, and drive brand representation across all markets.
Qualifications
- BA/BS degree.
- 4-5 years prior experience in foodservice sales/marketing with Multi-Unit/Large Account management experience.
