In this role, you will be an integral part of a POD, working closely with attorneys, legal assistants, and case managers to support a variety of legal personal injury tasks. This includes handling discovery, depositions, motions, negotiation, mediation, arbitration, hearings, jury, and bench trials.
Collaborate with attorneys and fellow paralegals on research and writing tasks related to a substantial caseload and other firm needs. Actively participate in the litigation department and contribute to clients' robust representation across the firm. Additionally, you will help train new and/or offshore employees.
The ideal candidate will adhere to the firm's Standard Operating Procedures while actively seeking ways to improve existing processes. You'll exercise independent judgment in resolving both litigation and non-litigation matters for the firm and its clients. We value individuals who ask, "How can I help?"
We provide medical, dental, and vision insurance, along with a 401(k) plan and a compensation package ranging from $70,000 - $90,000 (depending on experience).
You will have the option to work at either the Decatur or Jonesboro office.
Compensation: $70,000 - $90,000 yearly DOE
