MONITOR PRODUCTION QUALITY AND SAFETY STANDARDS, SUPERVISE AND EVALUATE PRODUCTION STAFF, CREATE RECOMMENDATIONS FOR MORE EFFECTIVE PROCESS AND PROCEDURES. REPORT TO PRODUCTION MANAGER ON PRODUCTION PERFORMANCE.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Ensures JSA / SOP / LOTO are being followed by all employees and holds them accountable when required.
• Conducts staff meetings to review daily/weekly work schedules and KPI, plan and ensure continuous improvement.
• Managing, Supervising and evaluating performance of production personnel
• Driving managing process within all departments and being accountable
• Organizing workflow within the plant to meet Production schedules and deadlines communicating to management when there is an issue. With production and or manning within a department or work center.
• Monitoring production to resolve issues and ensure quality standards
• Enforcing health and safety precautions and complying with environmental regulations example safety glasses, earplugs and lock out tag out process are being followed.
• Reporting to upper management on production activities and results
• Provide support, training, direction inventory control within any department.
• Provides ideas and suggestions to upper management for more efficient operations.
• Has overall training and evaluation responsibilities of manufacturing and shipping & receiving departments.
• Assign duties to manufacturing as needed.
• Provides written annual performance reviews for employees
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
• Proven experience in production management or a related field
• Deep knowledge of production procedures and best practices
• Understanding of quality standards and health & safety regulations
• Experience in reporting on key production metrics
• Proficient in MS Office
• Outstanding communication, organizational and leadership skills
• Attention to detail, problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Must have a High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• 5 years’ experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• 5-years’ experience in a Production Manager Role
Salary : $65,000 - $70,000
