Role Description
The Civil Engineering Intern will support project teams by assisting in the design and implementation of civil engineering and surveying projects. Responsibilities include preparing and reviewing design plans, assisting with water resource management tasks, and contributing to municipal and private sector projects. The intern will develop technical skills, collaborate with team members, and participate in project planning processes. This is a full-time, on-site position located in Ithaca, NY.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Civil Engineering Design and general Civil Engineering principles
- Strong Communication skills to contribute effectively in team settings
- Knowledge or experience in Water Resource Management
- Basic understanding of Project Management concepts and related tasks
- Enthusiasm to learn and adapt to diverse engineering challenges
- Currently enrolled in a Civil Engineering or related program
- Familiarity with engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD or similar) is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
