Works closely with: fert. crews, irrigation team, supply yard team, mechanic, operations manager

Typical Hours: Mon-Fri, 7:00am-7:00pm (hours vary based on time of year); some weekends depending on weather and workload

Summary: The Lawn Maintenance Crew Leader is a professional who is proficient in all aspects of lawn mowing & maintenance services and is highly detailed and quality focused. The crew leader’s main objective is to lead a crew of one to two team members to properly maintain properties while meeting or beating budgeted man hour goals. Crew leaders can work with minimal supervision and provide a safe environment for crew members & clients. Our lawn teams meet and operate by the standards and research provided by the University of Nebraska Lincoln Extension Office. Candidate will require minimal supervision and conduct all jobs in a safe manner and in accordance with our company core values. Duties include, but are not limited to:
Desired Experience and Education:
• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 3-year experience in residential lawn services such as mowing, trimming, edging and blowing.
• Ability to perform preventative maintenance on mowers and other equipment.
• Must possess a driver’s license, clean criminal record and have ability to pass a drug test.
• Able to lift 50 lbs. without assistance.
• Physically able to have full range of mobility in upper and lower body.
• Always maintain a positive and supportive attitude.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus.
• NE Pesticide Applicators License a plus.
