As a CNC Setup Specialist, you transform drawings into reality—setting up Mazak and Doosan mills and lathes for short runs and prototypes, proving out first articles, and ensuring every feature aligns with the print. Impact you’ll have Every day brings a new challenge: a different material, geometry, or tolerance target. You stage tools, touch off, set offsets, and measure meticulously to ±0.0005". You collaborate with experienced programmers and machinists, tweak G-code when needed, and suggest process improvements that save minutes without losing a tenth.
