1st Shift Maintenance Supervisor
The Opportunity
We’re partnering with a well-established manufacturing client operation to hire a Maintenance Supervisor for a 1st shift role. This is a critical leadership position responsible for keeping production running, minimizing downtime, and leading a high-performing maintenance team.

What You’ll Own
- Supervise daily maintenance operations, ensuring work orders are completed on time and production disruptions are handled quickly
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of 10–20 maintenance technicians
- Drive execution of preventive maintenance programs across production equipment and facility systems
- Schedule, assign, and monitor maintenance work to support production goals and reduce downtime
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards
- Partner with production and cross-functional teams to improve efficiency and resolve issues
- Track key maintenance metrics, including downtime, completion rates, and overall equipment performance
What You Bring (Must-Haves)
- Proven experience leading maintenance teams in a manufacturing environment
- Strong working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and refrigeration systems
- Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced production setting and respond effectively to equipment breakdowns
- Experience managing preventive maintenance schedules and driving execution
- Solid leadership presence, you can hold a team accountable while developing their capabilities
