T&L Custom Screening, Inc. has been providing high-quality custom screen printing, embroidery, and apparel decoration since 1996. We are a busy, growing local shop looking for a reliable, hardworking individual to join our production floor as a Screenprinting Assistant. Position Summary:
As a Screenprinting Assistant, you will play a crucial role in our production and fulfillment process. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve catching shirts off the dryer, quality control, sorting, counting, packing, and general warehouse labor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Catching & Inspecting: Catching finished garments directly off the conveyor dryer belt and checking them for print quality and defects.
- Counting & Sorting: Accurately counting apparel quantities by size and color, and sorting completed jobs for packaging.
- Packing & Unpacking: Unpacking blank garments from manufacturer boxes and carefully packing finished printed orders into boxes or bags according to client instructions.
- General Labor: Assisting around the shop with general warehouse tasks, breaking down cardboard, keeping the workspace clean and organized, and supporting lead printers as needed.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Reliability & Punctuality: Dependability is a must; our production schedule depends on you being here and on time.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, bend, reach, and lift/move boxes or bundles weighing up to 30–50 lbs regularly.
- Attention to Detail: Good basic math/counting skills and a sharp eye for visual quality.
- Team Player: A positive attitude and a willingness to pitch in wherever needed on the floor.
- Experience is a plus, but entry-level candidates with a great work ethic and willingness to learn are welcome to apply—we will train the right person!
