Position Description:
• Implement commodity-specific business plans to ensure your suppliers exceed all corporate launch, quality, capacity, warranty metrics, and vehicle delivery • Lead cross-functional decisions with Ford & Supplier leadership to drive resolution of open issues. • Implement actions to ensure zero vehicle losses from suppliers • Principal for on-site troubleshooting and corrective actions for emergency supplier situations • Lead adherence to Ford standards (i.e.Q1) • Drive assessment & validation of manufacturing feasibility at identified supplier sites • Execute the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) and Advanced Quality Planning Process (APQP) • Use available data, metrics, and business plans to drive future sourcing decisions ensuring improved future quality • Implement commodity-specific business plans to ensure your suppliers exceed all corporate launch, quality, capacity, warranty metrics, and vehicle delivery • Lead on-site troubleshooting and corrective actions for emergency supplier situations
Skills Required:
- APQP, Quality Management, Problem Solving, PPAP processes
Experience Required:
• 5 years’ experience in one or more, but not limited to the following manufacturing process:
• Casting, Machining, Forging, Stamping, Welding, Plastic/Rubber Molding, Brazing, Sintering, Automated/Manual Assembly Processes, Controls Automation programming, Paint, Chroming, SMC.
Education Required:
Bachelor's Degree
