Quality / Reliability Eng General
Job Summary:
Our client in Dearborn, MI is looking for a Quality / Reliability Eng General. This is a contract position.
What You Will Do:
- Implement commodity-specific business plans to ensure your suppliers exceed all corporate launch, quality, capacity, warranty metrics, and vehicle deliver.
- Lead cross-functional decisions with Our Client & Supplier leadership to drive resolution of open issues.
- Implement actions to ensure zero vehicle losses from suppliers.
- Principal for on-site troubleshooting and corrective actions for emergency supplier situations.
- Lead adherence to Our Client´s standards (i.e.Q1).
- Drive assessment & validation of manufacturing feasibility at identified supplier sites.
- Execute the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) and Advanced Quality Planning Process (APQP).
- Use available data, metrics, and business plans to drive future sourcing decisions ensuring improved future quality.
- Implement commodity-specific business plans to ensure your suppliers exceed all corporate launch, quality, capacity, warranty metrics, and vehicle delivery.
- Lead on-site troubleshooting and corrective actions for emergency supplier situations.
Basics:
- Bachelor of Science/ Engineering, or equivalent technical / manufacturing aptitude.
