MATERIAL MANAGER
The company is seeking a Material Manager to provide SETA support in Hanover, MD.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Manages all materiel management activities such as inventory control, storage, supply handling and operation of support equipment.
Performs operations that involve the proper storage and identification of materials that fall under their area of responsibility.
Receives goods, inspects the quality of those goods, and distributes them to their proper storage areas. Develops procedures to enhance the current methods that are used to receive, store, and distribute DoD materiel.
Store, issue, ship, and transfer Army property.
Securely control sensitive, classified, extremely valuable, and highly controlled items.
Manages the supply and distribution of repair items.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in operations or supply chain management, or related field (10 years of additional experience may be substituted in lieu of degree)
Minimum of 5 years of related experience, 3 of which was supported a DoD program office in the management of an ACAT I or II programs and/or field experience supporting a combat coded weapon system.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Expertise in Life Cycle Sustainment Plans, Item Unique Identification Plans, Materiel Fielding Plans, Core Depot Assessments, Analysis of Product Support Alternatives, Failure Reporting, Analysis, and Corrective Action System , Basis of Issue Plan Feeder Data, Materiel Management of Software Intensive Programs/Weapon Systems, and knowledge of Global Combat Support System (G-Army), Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE), Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS), and AESIP (Army Enterprise System Integration Program).
SECURITY CLEARANCE
· Active DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance required
