Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Fire Sprinkler Installer to join our construction and safety team. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing fire sprinkler systems across various commercial and industrial sites. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical skills, experience with CPVC, pipe fitting, and a good understanding of blueprints. Responsibilities
- SHOW UP ON TIME
- Install fire sprinkler systems according to blueprints and direction by Foreman or Superintendent
- Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment and CPVC tools
- Measure and cut pipes accurately using basic math skills to ensure proper fitment
- lifting heavy materials safely on construction sites
- Maintain compliance with safety protocols related to construction site work.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to project timelines
- Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of installed sprinkler systems as needed
Qualifications
- Valid California Driver License
- Some experience in fire sprinkler fitting or related construction roles.
- Can Pass a Drug Testing requirement
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools.
- Being enrolled or having graduated from a CAFSA apprentice ship program is a plus
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, ASME codes & standards for proper installation procedures
- Familiarity with construction site safety practices including rigging and working at heights
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations during installation processes
- Experience working in manufacturing or construction environments preferred
- Valid knowledge of pipe fitting techniques including assembly and maintenance of piping systems
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $26.05 - $31.37 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
