Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Localization QA Analyst to support global product releases across music, TV, and sports content platforms. This role will focus on ensuring high-quality user experiences across multiple languages by validating translated content within the product environment.
The ideal candidate has experience with localization workflows, QA testing, and cross-functional collaboration, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform localization QA (LQA) across multiple languages and platforms
- Validate translated content within the UI for accuracy, consistency, and formatting
- Identify and document issues such as text truncation, encoding errors, and layout inconsistencies
- Execute functional and regression testing to ensure product stability across languages
- Partner with cross-functional teams and localization vendors to resolve issues
- Track and manage defects using bug tracking tools
- Support continuous improvement of localization and QA processes
Required Qualifications
- Experience with localization QA, LQA, or localization testing
- Strong understanding of localization workflows (l10n/i18n)
- Solid QA fundamentals (test cases, regression testing, defect tracking)
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Strong communication skills and experience working with cross-functional teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with localization tools (e.g., Smartling, Transifex, Phrase, Crowdin)
- Familiarity with JSON, XML, or string-based content
- Basic scripting experience (Python or JavaScript)
- Experience supporting media, streaming, or content platforms
