We are seeking a self-motivated DevOps Engineer who can operate independently and quickly ramp in a fast-paced environment. This role focuses on building scalable infrastructure, improving deployment processes, and enhancing system reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Support zero-downtime deployments through continuous delivery practices
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, QA, and security teams
- Build self-service tools to improve developer productivity
- Proactively monitor systems and resolve issues before customer impact
- Drive long-term solutions from production issues and on-call insights
- Contribute to microservices architecture design
Key Projects
- Maintain and upgrade core technologies (Java, Gradle, Scala)
- Deploy and manage scalable, fault-tolerant infrastructure
- Implement monitoring and alerting for critical services
- Execute and analyze performance testing
Required Qualifications
- Strong programming/scripting skills (Python preferred)
- Experience with containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS/EKS, Fargate)
- Cloud platform experience (AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure) with Infrastructure as Code
- Expertise in monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, Splunk, Datadog)
- Strong troubleshooting skills in large-scale production environments
- Experience with distributed systems, JVM applications, NoSQL, and networking tools
