Job Description:
Client is seeking Propulsion Test Engineers located at Kennedy Space Center, FL.
Position Responsibilities
Performs test engineering activities, including detailed operating procedure authoring and execution on spacecraft propulsion systems to achieve test, verification, and vehicle production objectives
Hypergolic propellant servicing
Develops and executes steps to perform component removals, replacement, and re-test on systems that contain hypergolic propellants
Leak testing of spacecraft propulsion systems
Required Skills, Experience, and Education
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
Previous experience loading hypergolic propellants or performing other test related operations on hypergol contaminated propellant systems
Previous experience leak checking spacecraft fluid systems
Previous experience developing procedures to leak check and perform functional testing of spacecraft hypergolic propellant systems
Previous experience operating high-pressure pneumatic equipment, including to pressurize flight hardware
Previous experience task leading technicians, QA team members, and other test engineers to execute testing
Strong troubleshooting capabilities required to document and resolve non-conformances on both ground support equipment and flight hardware
5 years propulsion related fluids test engineering experience on spacecraft
Willing to work overtime and off shift operations, including 2nd and 3rd shift
Desired Skills, Experience, and Education
Current non-Destructive Test (NDT) Leak Test certification
Current SCAPE/SAR certification
Education / Experience:
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
Additional Comments:
OT/DOT expected?: Overtime is expected to support test operations.

Shifts: 1st shift baseline but during test operations 2nd and 3rd shift may be required for the duration of the operation.
