Registered Nurse RN ER

Job Title – Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Department (ER)

Unit – Emergency Department

Duration of Assignment – 13 Weeks

Location – Hermiston, OR

Shift – Variable, 3x12-Hour Shifts (Days/Evenings)

Guarantee Hours – 36 Hours per Week

Salary Range – $67/hour

Job Duties:

• Provide emergency nursing care by assessing, triaging, and treating patients with a wide range of medical conditions and injuries.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor changes in condition.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and emergency treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to deliver timely, high-quality patient care.
• Coordinate, delegate, and evaluate nursing care while supervising assigned personnel.
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and discharge instructions.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and standards of care.

Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department (ER) nursing experience.
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications.
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Ability to work 12-hour variable day/evening shifts in a fast-paced emergency setting.
