Job Title – Operating Room (OR) RN Manager

Unit – Surgery / Operating Room

Duration of Assignment – 13 Weeks

Location – Hermiston, Oregon

Shift – Day Shift (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, 12-Hour Shifts)

Guarantee Hours – 36 Hours per Week

Salary Range – Up to $120/Hour

Job Duties:
• Oversee daily operations of the Operating Room and surgical services.
• Supervise and manage OR staff including RNs, LPNs, scrub techs, and support staff.
• Ensure safe, high-quality patient care during surgical procedures.
• Manage staffing, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
• Implement and monitor evidence-based practices and quality improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary communication and perioperative care planning.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, regulatory, and accreditation standards.
• Evaluate staff performance, conduct interviews, and support staff development.

Requirements:
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required (MSN preferred).
• Active Oregon RN license required.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required (TNCC & CNOR preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of OR experience required.
• Experience in specialties: ortho, urology, general surgery, GYN, vascular, robotics, etc.
• Previous OR Manager or leadership experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
