S³ Inc. has an opening for a Senior Pricing Analyst to join our corporate F&A team at our Corporate HQ in Research Park, Huntsville, AL.
This position is not a remote or hybrid position. This position does not include a relocation benefit
There is a $5,000.00 hire-in bonus.
Job Description:
The Senior Pricing Analyst reports to the CFO and provides independent pricing for CONUS and OCONUS in all phases of the proposal process from proposal strategy through negotiations. The SPA performance will be measured on the timeliness and accuracy of final price review before submittal of final proposal to customer.
Duties:
- Develops both sanitized and un-sanitized pricing volumes of proposals to include the required text description of the buildup of the pricing, as well as building supporting Excel Spreadsheets in the format required by the Government/Prime.
- Coordinates the accumulation of data from various program and functional areas, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Validates the accuracy of accumulated data and compliance with the cost element of the FAR and the RFP. Identifies potential financial risks associated with the pricing strategy.
- Provides expertise and contracting knowledge to the pricing of proposals.
- Ensures all cost proposals are in compliance with solicitation requirements, company policy, and applicable laws.
- Ensures all cost proposals are submitted in accordance with company policies, Government oversight organization (e.g., DCAA) policies, and the requirements of the solicitation as to make sure that the proposal will pass a government audit.
Prepares Representations & Certifications of Offers solicitations. Supports briefings to company management in support of Bid Decisions and leads pricing reviews in all proposal color reviews.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration and 12 years of related experience in the defense industry.
- 12 years of experience developing pricing strategy for GSA, T&M, CPFF, CPAF and FFP jobs, with a thorough knowledge of the FAR; experience with budgets and cost controls is required.
- 12 years of experience developing pricing strategies for a federal contractor responding to RFP pricing requirements.
- 12 years of experience with all of the following types of RFPs or contracts: CPFF, T&M, FPLOE, and FFP.
- Experience with budgets and cost control.
- Perform at a level of 4 out of 5 in Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
- Prefer pricing experience with IDIQ/BPA contracts such as R53, Express, Oasis, and GSA.
- The ability to obtain a secret clearance if one is required.
- Experience coordinating proposal packages with legal, financial, and program departments
- Five (5) years of working knowledge of the FAR Parts 31 - Contract Cost Principles, and 15.4 - Contract Pricing.
- The ability to provide cost narratives in MS Word as required to clearly explain the proposed costs. IDIQ Task Order and CONUS/OCONUS pricing is preferred.
Willingness to work hours as required by project schedules.
