Position Summary
:Our client is seeking a Contract Specialist to support procurement and contracting activities related to the acquisition of materials, equipment, supplies, services, and construction projects. This role is responsible for managing the full contract lifecycle, including solicitation development, bid evaluation, contract negotiation, award processing, contract administration, and compliance monitoring
.
Key Responsibilitie
- s:Manage procurement and contract administration activities to acquire quality goods and services in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedure
- s.Prepare and administer formal and informal solicitations, including RFPs, RFQs, IFBs, contracts, amendments, and related procurement document
- s.Conduct pre-solicitation strategy meetings and recommend procurement approache
- s.Analyze proposals and bids, coordinate evaluation committees, and facilitate bid openings and pre-proposal conference
- s.Negotiate contract terms and conditions with vendors and support contract award activitie
- s.Determine appropriate contract types, bonding requirements, insurance requirements, and contract documentatio
