4, 10 hour days (Monday - Thursday) with some 10 day shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide field oversight for monitoring well installation programs, foundation investigations, contamination assessments, geologic site characterizations, or related projects.
• Perform soil and rock logging; prepare professional logs for soil, rock, and monitoring well construction data.
• Install water monitoring and water quality equipment and manage data output.
• Manage drilling and related contractors in accordance with company guidelines and procedures.
• Interface with various customers and collaborate with Geologist and Land Group peers to facilitate field investigations.
• Travel extensively, primarily throughout the southeastern United States, including Georgia, Alabama, and Mississippi.

• 5 years of experience in a related field
• Accredited Bachelor's Degree in Geology preferred; Geological Engineering accepted
• Experience in executing field investigations using various drilling methods and resources
• Proficient in soil and rock logging, monitoring well construction, groundwater monitoring, and field data reporting
• Knowledge of environmental sampling and testing methods
• Understanding of federal, state, and local regulatory requirements
• Working knowledge of gINT BoreDM Boring Log Program
• Flexible computer skills; proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively in oral and written forms
• Safety-first mindset with customer focus and conflict resolution skills
