Duties and Responsibilities:
- Own ServiceNow platform architecture, roadmap, and design standards.
- Lead alignment across applications, infrastructure, and services.
- Architect integrations (directory/identity, monitoring/event management, ERP/finance, endpoint management tools).
- Establish and enforce development best practices: security, ACL/RBAC, Flow Designer, ATF, release pipelines.
- Guide product owners, developers, and admins; approve solution designs.
- Ensure performance, scalability, and upgrade readiness.
- Build dashboards that show operational value and outcomes (not just activity).
- Reduce technical debt; streamline change/incident/problem workflows.
Qualifications:
Education and Years of Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
Required Skills/Certifications:
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
- Solid ServiceNow experience.
- Solid experience acting as a ServiceNow Architect or Design Authority.
- Deep expertise in:
- ITSM (Incident/Problem/Change/Request)
- ITOM
- ITAM
- Security operations
- Strategic portfolio management
- IntegrationHub & Flow Designer
- Strong understanding of non-functional requirements: performance, security, upgradeability, and release management.
- Proven experience leading cross-functional delivery teams
Preferred Experience
- ServiceNow support for a large enterprise or public-sector environment
- Platform automation: Automated Test Framework (ATF), pipelines, CI/CD
- Service Mapping, ITOM, Performance Analytics
Preferred (any of the following):
- Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) — ITSM / Discovery / CMDB / CSDM
- Certified Application Developer (CAD)
- Certified Technical Architect (CTA) – highly preferred
- ITIL v4 Foundation or higher.
