Job Title: Production Line Lead - 1st Shift
Location: Macungie, PA
Type: 6 month Contract To Hire
Compensation: $20.00/hr - $24.00/hour
Overview:
Reputable industry leader is seeking a Line Lead for their pharmaceutical manufacturing and packaging operations in Macungie, PA!
Responsibilities
- Assist in directing employees’ activities within assigned manufacturing room(s) or areas to meet daily production schedules
- Communicate supervisor’s job orders to employees and ensure all batch record entries are completed
- Maintain line/area in an orderly and safe manner while adhering to GMPs
- Monitor packaging operations for optimal performance and assist with reporting production metrics
- Train designated peers as needed, complete line/area changeovers, and oversee cleaning and check procedures
- Conduct attendance checks, support training initiatives, and coordinate priority setups/startups
- Provide status updates to management and ensure lines/areas are ready as scheduled
- Ensure batch record corrections are completed timely and recommend process and equipment improvements
- Troubleshoot work issues, assist with deviations and investigations, and perform other duties as assigned
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA/BT) in a technical discipline OR Associate’s degree with 3–5 years of pharmaceutical packaging experience OR an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience in pharmaceutical or related industry inspection required
- Strong documentation and communication skills
- Strong organizational and planning abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word)
- Prior leadership experience (conflict resolution, critical thinking, communication) required
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds; vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral, and focus adjustment
