Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Capital Project Scheduler to support a portfolio of capital projects with budgets up to $15M. This role serves as the scheduling subject matter expert (SME), responsible for developing, maintaining, and analyzing project schedules using Primavera P6. The ideal candidate is highly organized, collaborative, and capable of managing multiple project timelines while communicating effectively with diverse stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, update, and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6
• Manage scheduling activities across a portfolio of capital projects
• Create new project schedules and ensure alignment with scope, timelines, and milestones
• Attend project meetings and incorporate updates, risks, and changes into schedules
• Analyze schedule impacts and communicate changes, risks, and delays to stakeholders
• Respond to schedule-related inquiries from project teams and leadership
• Review QA/QC scheduling reports to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Collaborate closely with project managers and cross-functional teams
• Lead or facilitate scheduling discussions with groups of 15–20 stakeholders

• Hybrid schedule: Tuesday–Thursday in-office; Monday and Friday remote
• Standard 40-hour workweek; no overtime expected

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on Primavera P6 scheduling experience
• Experience supporting capital projects
• Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing project conditions
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (especially Outlook and related tools)
• Demonstrated ability to lead meetings and communicate with cross-functional teams
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• 10 years of overall project scheduling experience
• Experience in construction or utility industry environments
• Familiarity with Business Objects or similar reporting tools

This role does not include direct supervisory responsibilities but requires a high degree of ownership, autonomy, and accountability in managing deliverables and supporting multiple project teams.
