Job Title: Lead Netsuite Administrator
Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain NetSuite environments, including user setup, roles, permissions, workflows, custom fields, forms, records, and saved searches.
- Configure and support core NetSuite modules, including financials, projects, purchasing, and vendor management.
- Own troubleshooting and resolution of NetSuite issues related to configuration, data, performance, and integrations.
- Manage sandbox environments, testing cycles, and production deployments.
- Act as the primary technical owner for NetSuite integrations with systems such as ServiceNow, Salesforce, Dayforce, and third-party vendors.
- Partner with internal developers, vendors, and consultants to design, test, and support integrations and data flows.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity across systems through validation, monitoring, reconciliation, and issue resolution.
- Support data migration, cutover activities, and ongoing data maintenance.
- Serve as a knowledge lead for the NetSuite Administrator and NetSuite Business Analyst, providing guidance, prioritization, and escalation support.
- Review and approve solution designs, configurations, and changes to ensure quality, consistency, and standards adherence.
- Help translate business requests into clear technical requirements and guide the team toward scalable solutions.
- Mentor team members and support skill development across NetSuite and related platforms.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to understand business needs and recommend solutions.
- Participate in NetSuite roadmap planning, backlog grooming, and prioritization discussions.
- Communicate changes, risks, and impacts clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Establish and maintain documentation for configurations, integrations, business processes, and support procedures.
- Support change management practices, including testing, approvals, and release communication.
- Train and support end users and power users as needed.
- Monitor NetSuite updates and releases, assess impacts, and recommend adoption where appropriate.
Requirements
- 3 years of hands-on NetSuite administration experience in a production ERP environment
- NetSuite Administrator or Consultant certification
- Strong understanding of NetSuite configuration, security model, workflows, saved searches, and reporting
- Experience supporting NetSuite integrations with upstream and downstream systems
- Proven ability to work directly with accounting and finance teams
- Experience leading or mentoring technical staff or acting in a lead role
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
- Familiarity with NetSuite financials (GL, AP/AR, etc.) is a plus
