System One is seeking a seasoned Estimator to join a high-performing Inside Sales team supporting nuclear-grade manufacturing. This role is ideal for a professional who understands the realities of machine and fabrication shops and thrives in precision-driven, regulated environments.
What You’ll DoPrepare accurate, detailed cost estimates for RFQs involving nuclear-grade machined and fabricated components
Evaluate drawings, specifications, materials, labor, and processes to determine realistic costs and lead times
Partner with engineering, machining, welding, and production teams to validate scope and feasibility
Ensure estimates comply with nuclear quality and regulatory standards
10 years of estimating experience in machine shop and/or fabrication environments
Strong knowledge of nuclear manufacturing standards (NQA-1, ASME, QA programs)
Proven ability to analyze complex RFQs with precision and confidence
Detail-driven mindset with strong communication and collaboration skills
