CNC Machinist

Job Title: CNC Machinist
Location: Irwin, PA

Type: Direct Hire
Compensation: $62400 annually
Contractor Work Model: Onsite
Hours: 2 ^nd shift is 3:00 pm-1:30 am   Monday- Thursday
Security Clearance: List security clearance requirements (delete if not needed)
 

Responsibilities

• Configure and operate computer numerical control equipment for various machining operations including turning, drilling, and milling processes
• Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications to produce components within required tolerances
• Perform dimensional inspections and quality assurance using precision measurement instruments
• Execute setup procedures for multi-axis turning centers and maintain optimal machine performance
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform routine maintenance tasks
• Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to quality standards and delivery schedules

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in CNC machining operations and programming
• Proficiency in reading and understanding technical documentation and engineering drawings
• Competency with precision measuring equipment and dimensional inspection techniques
• Strong mathematical skills for performing calculations related to machining parameters
• Technical aptitude for diagnosing and resolving mechanical issues
• Experience with multi-axis lathe operations preferred
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing setting
