Administrative and Accounting Assistant

Position Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented assistant to join our team for part-time duties in accounting and administration. This flexible role is estimated at 15 to 20 hours per week. As our team grows, there may be opportunities to expand responsibilities over time.
Key Responsibilities
- Review, verify, and process vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner
- Match purchase orders, receipts, and invoices for three-way matching
- Assist with preparing check runs, ACH payments, and wire transfers[MW1] for AP Manager
- Maintain and reconcile the accounts payable ledger
- Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve billing discrepancies
- Assist with month-end close activities related to payables
- Maintain organized and accurate AP files and records
- Assist with Credit Card Reconciliation
- Assist with Order and shipping confirmations for Purchase Order
