We are seeking a full-time Field Service Technician for an on-site role based in DeLand, FL. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance of diagnostic equipment at customer sites. This role involves diagnosing equipment malfunctions, performing system installations, providing technical support, and ensuring customer satisfaction through timely service and professional communication. Additional duties may include maintaining service documentation and adhering to company protocols and safety standards.
- Technical skills in diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical or electronic systems
- Experience with system installations, preventative maintenance, and calibration of technical equipment
- Knowledge of laboratory instrumentation, in vitro diagnostic systems, or related healthcare technology
- Strong customer service abilities, communication skills, and technical support experience
- Proficiency in maintaining service documentation and following company procedures
- Ability to work independently and manage schedules effectively
- Associate degree or higher in electronics, engineering, or related technical field preferred
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally or regionally as needed
