Help Desk Administrator

Employment Type: Contract - W2

Duration: Initial contract term of 3 - 4 months, with the possibility of extensions and potential conversion to a full-time role

Work Schedule: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Arizona time); 40 hours per week

Work Model: 100% onsite in Phoenix, AZ 85007

Position Summary:

The Senior Helpdesk Administrator supports desktop, web, and client/server applications; computer and networking hardware; standard operating systems; and internally developed custom applications. This position requires the ability to understand and document customer needs, troubleshoot with customers, and maintain a broad understanding of the IT services structure to escalate calls properly.

Job Responsibilities:

• Understand and document customer needs.
• Troubleshoot issues with customers.
• Escalate calls appropriately based on the IT services structure.
• Support desktop applications.
• Support web-based applications.
• Support client/server applications.
• Support computer and networking hardware.
• Support standard operating systems.
• Support internally developed custom applications.
• Assist with software installation.

Skills Required:

• Customer service and interaction skills
• O365 experience, including OneDrive, Office products, and SharePoint
• Familiarity with software installation
• PowerShell commands and scripting experience
• Experience with Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP
• AWS SysOps and infrastructure/architecture
• PowerShell scripting and automation
• Palo Alto firewall
• IIS
• Intune administration

Education Required:

• Associate's degree or higher.

Experience Required:

• Minimum 3 to 5 years of working experience in an IT field.

Pay: $34.00 per hour
