What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Assistant or LPN - Clinic position at Syracuse Area Health?
Assists Providers and care team with direct patient care, examinations, procedures, and treatment plans. Performs care to patients under the supervision and direction of the medical staff within the scope of practice of a medical assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse license.
This position is a full-time, benefited position, working 4 days per week, totaling approximately 34 hours per week. No weekends or holidays!
Qualifications:- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be on the Nebraska Medication Aide Registry in the state of Nebraska
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Experience in providing care to a general population
- Excellent customer service and organizational skills
- Demonstrated problem solving skills
- Effective knowledge and familiarity with word processing, computer navigation, and e-mail, previous experience with electronic medical records preferred.
- Moderate lab testing experience with phlebotomy preferred
- Clinic experience preferred
