Job Title: DRE-Interior Restraints (Seat Belts & Airbags)
Work Location: Novi, MI
Contract: Fulltime
Job Description:
- Experience in engineering interior restraint systems (Seat Belt and Airbag) thru all development phases
- Experience with Catia software systems and pulling in and cutting sections in data.
- Understanding of restraint system requirements Seat Belt and Airbag
- Experience in DV/PV testing phase for restraint systems (Seat Belt and Airbag)
- Fast resolution of open issues for restraint systems
- Plus, to have knowledge of the VW systems
- Strong understanding of the quality process from DFMEA, PFMEA and Control plans
- Take direction from Scout Engineering to modify components for engineering/design/safety requirements
- Work with Supplier(s) to ensure proper upload of data into the VW system
- Part updates and changes to existing parts / assemblies needed to support manufacturing feasibility, part performance improvements, and/or changes to interfacing components /systems.
- Support restraint systems commodity DV/PV testing and lead issue resolution
- Work with supplier to ensure tooling timing supports downstream deliverables
- Issue resolution for all open restraint issues thru build phase(s)
