AI/IT Developer I or II

Job Summary

Works closely with more experienced developers to ensure scalable, efficient and optimized solutions. Works closely with customers, management, business analysts, and team members to understand business requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions. Ensures solutions are aligned with business and Information Technology strategies and comply with the organization's architectural standards. Designs, develops, maintains and improves data structures, queries, reporting solutions, extract-transform-load (ETL) processes and data warehousing strategies for all mission critical projects. Works closely with team members on the daily execution of deliverables and to continue to gain knowledge and development in the Developer role.

Job Duties And Responsibilities

• Stay current with emerging AI technologies, frameworks, and best practices to continuously improve IT operations.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents relating to production AI applications.
• Data Pipeline setup for AI systems.
• Develop and maintain enterprise level software.
• Rapidly prototype and deploy full stack applications.
• Each team member is expected to be aware of risk within their functional area. This includes observing all policies, procedures, laws, regulations and risk limits specific to their role. Additionally, they should raise and report known or suspected violations to the appropriate Company authority in a timely fashion.

Minimum Education:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  
  

Minimum Experience:

• One year of related experience including data design and project management, using multiple programing languages, and using and managing metadata
  
  

Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

• Solid understanding of systems development life cycle (SDLC), software best practices and development methodologies
• Strong technologist with excellent data analysis and ETL skills
• Knowledge of Master Data Management (MDM) and Governance
• Understanding of multiple programming languages, systems, as well as data design and project management methodologies.
• Strong architecture, design, and development skills
• Understanding of building data warehouses for analytical and business intelligence solutions
• Understanding of business solutions that the data warehouse serves
• Strong analytical and diagnostic skills
• Skill in developing and organizing high-quality documentation
• Skill and flexibility managing multiple projects with large volumes of data in a rapidly changing environment
• Skill troubleshooting issues in a multi-tier environment
• Skill working with both business team members and technologists
• Leadership skills with an emphasis on teamwork
  
  

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

• Familiarity with retrieval augmented generation (RAG) techniques.
• Familiarity with Model Context Protocol and AI tool calling integrations.
• Familiarity with vector database systems.
• Familiarity with agentic AI systems and AI assisted software development.
• Knowledge of AML/BSA regulations, transaction monitoring systems, and financial crime typologies including OFAC, KYC, CDD, and SAR requirements.
