Synertex LLC is seeking a highly skilled Senior Aviation Military Analyst with deep expertise in utility helicopters to support Army Capability Managers (ACMs) and the Experimentation and Analysis Directorate (CEAD) at the United States Army Aviation Center of Excellence (USAACE). This role is essential to advancing Army Aviation capabilities through rigorous analysis, operational insights, and requirements development for utility helicopter formations.
Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth analysis of Aviation organizations for formation-based assessments and simulation activities.
- Support annual capability needs assessments and gap analyses across Army Aviation utility formations.
- Tailor analytical methodologies to evaluate Aviation tasks, conditions, and standards.
- Author and revise JCIDS documents and other emerging requirements.
- Review current manned/unmanned platform programs and assess system validity in the context of Large-Scale Combat Operations (LSCO).
- Evaluate utility helicopter systems' performance in operational combat environments.
- Rated Army Aviator with at least 15 years of Aviation flight and combat operations experience.
- Senior or Master-rated Aviator qualification.
- Completion of CGSC/ILE, Warrant Officer Senior Staff Course, or civilian equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in combat developments or capabilities development.
- Subject matter expertise in currently fielded Army utility helicopter systems.
- Leadership experience in aviation studies, capability development, and operational test events.
- Strong writing and editing skills to deliver graduate-level technical documents.
- Experience as a Standardization Instructor Pilot (SIP), Instructor Pilot (IP), or Maintenance Test Pilot in utility helicopter units.
- Operational management of aviation organizations ranging from 400 to 2,800 personnel.
- Experience planning and leading Joint Working Groups and developing new aviation capabilities.
- Prior authorship or direct leadership of a team that produced a JROC-approved JCIDS document.
- Combat deployment experience in utility aviation roles.
- Demonstrated ability to independently produce white papers, concepts, and formal requirements documents.
- Secret Clearance required.
