Incoming Inspection of Supplied Materials & Components
- Perform inspection and testing of incoming materials, components, and supplies to verify conformance to specifications.
- Document inspection results and escalate discrepancies when required.
- Work with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve quality issues.
- Oversee the identification, segregation, and documentation of non-conforming materials in the Material Review Area.
- Support Material Review Board (MRB) activities by providing data and participating in disposition decisions.
- Assist in the coordination of rework, return-to-vendor, or scrap processes as needed.
- Evaluate returned products to determine root cause of failures for warranty claims.
- Document findings and communicate results to Customer Service and Quality teams.
- Provide input on trends or recurring issues to help drive corrective and preventive actions.
- Assist in testing new products to verify performance, reliability, and compliance with internal requirements and industry standards.
- Assist in competitive benchmarking by comparing product performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Support quality audits and ensure regulatory requirements are met.
- Execute lab-based testing following established procedures and safety guidelines.
- Accurately document, analyze, and report results, ensuring data integrity and traceability.
- Communicate findings to cross-functional teams in a clear and timely manner.
- Manage the calibration schedule for all laboratory and measurement equipment.
- Collaborate with Quality and Engineering teams on the development, refinement, and validation of test methods and protocols.
- Provide feedback on test execution and recommend improvements to increase consistency, efficiency, and accuracy.

We need this seat to have:
- High school diploma required; associate degree or technical certification in Quality, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- 1–3 years of experience in a quality or testing environment, preferably in manufacturing or product development.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured procedures.
- Experience with measurement tools, test equipment, and inspection methods.
- Solid documentation, reporting, and communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate across departments and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
