Your seat at the table: Manufacturing Engineering Manager

Lead, Manage, and Drive Accountability (LMA)
- Lead the Manufacturing Engineering team by setting clear expectations, providing coaching and feedback, and fostering professional development.
- Ensure team alignment with company goals, values, and production objectives.
- Manage workload distribution, performance reviews, and succession planning within the engineering function.
- Develop and improve manufacturing processes to enhance productivity, efficiency, and quality.
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective action for process-related issues.
- Ensure equipment performance meets production requirements through preventive maintenance planning, upgrades, and technology integration.
- Manage capital projects, equipment installations, and facility improvements from concept through implementation.
- Partner with Product Engineering and Operations teams to ensure smooth new product introductions (NPI) into manufacturing.
- Maintain timelines, budgets, and performance metrics for all engineering projects.
- Ensure all processes, equipment, and changes comply with safety and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with the Quality team to resolve manufacturing quality issues and maintain product standards.
- Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous learning across the team.
- Contribute to strategic planning for manufacturing capacity, equipment investment, and technology roadmap.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Supply Chain, and Maintenance to achieve business goals.
- Support the development of standard work, documentation, and training for production teams.

We need this seat to have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering (Master’s preferred).
- 7 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, with 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven success managing projects, leading teams, and implementing process improvements.
- Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and statistical process control (SPC).
- Excellent communication, analytical, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in CAD, ERP, and manufacturing data systems.
