What are the responsibilities and job description for the Paralegal / Legal Assistant position at Synergy Staffing Services, LLC?
One of Kansas City's leading law firms is seeking a Paralegal / Legal Assistant to join its expanding team. While prior legal experience is preferred, candidates who have recently obtained a Paralegal Certificate are also encouraged to apply. This position will involve working closely with several attorneys, primarily focusing on Personal Injury cases.
Responsibilities include:
- Request and review medical records and create case chronologies.
- Conduct research to support legal proceedings in personal injury cases.
- Record and maintain client information.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a paralegal, legal assistant, or in a related legal field is preferred, but recent graduates with a Paralegal or similar degree are encouraged to apply.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Detail-oriented and able to meet deadlines
- Ability to prioritize tasks and multitask effectively
