A utility client is seeking a GIS Architect to lead enterprise GIS modernization, Utility Network planning, and field mobility workflows. The architect will design integrations across GIS, OT, and cloud platforms while supporting high‑value operational systems.
Design enterprise GIS architecture and roadmap for utility operations.
Configure and tune ArcGIS Enterprise environments across multi‑tier deployments.
Lead Utility Network readiness, modeling, and workflow alignment.
Build and support mobile as‑built data capture workflows and field‑to‑GIS synchronization.
Develop secure integration patterns for ADMS, DEMS, OMS, SCADA/ICS, and RTU connectivity.
Implement FME‑based conversions and scheduled ETL processes.
Define infrastructure, identity, and security requirements for hybrid cloud environments.
Partner with IT/OT teams to align GIS with operational and regulatory needs.
RequirementsExperience Requirements
Extensive background in GIS architecture for electric/gas utilities.
ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcFM, Utility Network.
OT/IT integration experience across operational systems.
FME Flow/Form and GIS data engineering.
Mobile field workflow design and data‑quality management.
AWS or hybrid cloud architecture experience.
NERC/Purdue model exposure.
Consulting experience with large utilities.
Strong communication and stakeholder alignment skills.
