Our client is a rapidly scaling healthcare company headquartered Nashville. As they expand into new markets, they are adding an Accounting Manager to anchor their growing finance team. This is a high-impact, visible role that will own the month-end close, build out scalable accounting processes, and partner directly with senior operational leadership. Key responsibilities
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes with accuracy and speed
- Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with GAAP
- Oversee AP, AR, payroll accounting, and general ledger integrity
- Manage and mentor a team of 2–4 staff and senior accountants
- Own revenue recognition and healthcare-specific billing reconciliations
- Coordinate external audits and tax preparation with outside advisors
- Design and enforce internal controls and accounting policies
- Partner with FP&A to support budgeting and financial forecasting
- Evaluate and implement accounting system improvements
What our client is looking for
- 5 years of progressive accounting experience, including 1–2 years in a supervisory role
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA strongly preferred
- Healthcare industry experience a significant plus
- Proficiency in NetSuite, QuickBooks, or comparable ERP systems
- Strong command of GAAP and financial reporting standards
- Experience with revenue cycle or medical billing accounting preferred
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a high-growth, fast-paced environment
Salary : $110,000 - $120,000
