We are seeking an experienced Power Apps Developer to join our team supporting Federal Government clients. In this role, you will lead the design, development, and implementation of custom solutions built on the Microsoft Power Platform. The ideal candidate combines technical expertise with consulting experience, helping clients translate business requirements into effective, scalable solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of custom Power Platform solutions (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).
- Guide the team in establishing a sustainable and maintainable Power Platform environment.
- Collaborate with clients to understand business needs and translate them into functional, efficient solutions.
- Develop project plans, manage timelines, and oversee budgets for Power Platform development initiatives.
- Ensure successful deployment, post-deployment support, and maintenance of Power Platform projects.
- Provide guidance on Power Platform best practices, architecture, and design approaches.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for development projects.
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality and timely delivery of solutions.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5 years of experience developing Power Platform solutions for large organizations.
- Strong expertise in Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
- Experience building custom connectors, plugins, and controls.
- Solid understanding of data modeling and integrations using Dataverse (CDS).
- Experience integrating with Azure services and SharePoint.
- Knowledge of customizing Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM/ERP applications via Power Platform.
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts in business terms.
- Strong project management capabilities, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and departments.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a consulting environment.
- Knowledge of governance, security, and best practices within the Power Platform.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies for solution delivery.
