Role Overview
The Interactive Strategy Director leads strategic engagements across key client accounts, driving clarity, innovation, and direction for complex digital, CX, and brand challenges. You’ll partner closely with clients, creatives, technologists, and data teams to develop insight-driven strategies that elevate customer experiences and deliver measurable business impact. This role is fully onsite in our NYC studio to maximize collaboration and team connection.
Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Own the strategic vision for major client engagements across CX, brand strategy, digital experience, and marketing innovation.
- Translate business objectives, audience insights, and market opportunities into clear strategic frameworks and roadmaps.
- Lead discovery, research synthesis, and strategic development for experience transformations, digital ecosystems, and brand evolution initiatives.
Client Partnership
- Serve as a trusted strategic advisor to senior clients, presenting strategy recommendations with clarity, confidence, and storytelling finesse.
- Guide clients through ambiguity, helping them define priorities and navigate digital transformation decisions.
- Support new business pursuits through strategic POVs, proposals, and pitch leadership.
Collaboration & Execution
- Partner with creative, UX, content, and technology teams to bring strategies to life through concepting, experience design, and activation.
- Drive alignment across cross-functional teams, ensuring work is grounded in insight and connected to measurable outcomes.
- Mentor and grow strategists across the team, elevating craft and strategic thinking.
Thought Leadership
- Identify emerging trends in digital behavior, AI, CX, and brand innovation to inform agency thinking and client strategies.
- Contribute to internal frameworks, tools, and methodologies that strengthen our strategic practice.
Qualifications
- 8 years of experience in strategy roles within digital agencies, consultancies, or experience-focused organizations.
- Deep expertise in digital experience strategy, customer journeys, brand strategy, and multi-channel engagement.
- Strong client-facing communication skills, with the ability to shape narratives and influence senior stakeholders.
- Proven experience leading cross-functional teams and complex engagements end-to-end.
- Ability to distill research, data, and customer insights into actionable, inspiring strategies.
- Comfortable working fully onsite in a fast-paced, collaborative NYC studio environment.

Salary : $180,000 - $250,000
